Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClockPaid (the "Service"), provided by Sparkus Software Consultancy (pty) Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

ClockPaid lets you track time, produce time reports and generate invoices for your own clients. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for the invoices you send to your clients.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Plans, billing and our reseller

The Free plan is free of charge with the limits shown on our pricing page. The Pro plan is a subscription billed monthly in advance until cancelled.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, taxes, invoices for your subscription and refunds are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms.

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; your Pro features remain until the end of the paid period. See our refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into ClockPaid. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy. You can export invoices and reports as PDFs and may delete your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may change features or these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in the app.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
